Can you explain, what does it mean Wi-Fi in public areas?

Hello, This is Canvas Hostel. We are a guest house and most of the facilities are concentrated in public facilities. For Wi-Fi, it is only available in the lounge or in the cafe on the 1st floor. Please note that Wi-Fi is not available in the room.

Is a late check-in available? We'll arrive in Busan around 11 pm. Thank you

check-in time is from 3 to 9pm. you can also find our CANVAS CAFE inside the white building on the 1st floor. We take late check-in there between 9 and 11 pm. Please stop by the cafe and take your room key.

Is it ok to just drop off the luggage in your hotel first when we arrive in the morning, and then just do a late check-in in our reserved room? We're planning to do a tour while waiting for the check-in time so we might come back at late afternoon or nigh

Pleasant
It was clean and in a great location.
Lacking good communal spaces. Not a place to go if you want to meet other travelers. The bed nooks were private but could only be locked from the inside. Would have been nice to be able to lock my stuff up when I went out for the day. They also got hot as there was little to no air circulation. Laundry was not available to guests.

Good hostel for a 1 or 2 Night stay
The hotel is very close to the Haeundae beach and next to a convenient store. It's also just a few minutes walk to the next bus and subway so it's very well situated. I only stayed for 1 night but it seemed like everything was held pretty clean.
The way the beds are situated it's really difficiult to just get to the light switch and socket without having to crawl on the bed. Also even though it's more privacy than just having curtains, the air circulation in the booth was pretty bad. There was no locker in the room or any other facility. If you have more than a handcarry or backpack, you'd have to leave your luggage outside of your booth.

Very Good
- The room has great privacy compared to a regular hostel, as it has a door attached to each capsule/bed - It has 3 toilets and 3 shower rooms in my floor, which was adequate - Value for money
- No slippers provided, it was fine because I brought my own but have seen others struggle with wearing their sneakers/boots to the bathroom - Bathroom was too cold during winter days as it doesn’t have a heater - It only has 1 dressing table/mirror and 1 hairdryer in the same area, I feel like they could’ve installed more tables with mirror so that you don’t need to queue to get ready - Checkins are strictly from 3-8pm. I’ve seen a few people arriving after 8pm stranded in the lobby and they eventually had to find another hostel to stay the night - Room could be 1 meter longer as it’s too tight to even stand and change pants in the room
